What they needed

Forthglade, a rapidly growing brand in the pet food industry, experiencing double-digit growth, needed to enhance its Shopify store. Following the release of Shopify 2.0, the company aimed to future proof its digital presence. 

After deeming in-house development too costly, Forthglade reached out to Quickfire with their brief of a fast website turnaround as the business continued its exponential growth.

What we did

Forthglade was already on Shopify 1.0, so the project build was to upgrade their current website to Shopify 2.0, with many additional improvements. With the brand’s focus on launching new products and ranges, it was important to improve the subscription offering and drive up the customer retention rate. 

Additionally, there was an ambition for a custom tool to support customers with finding the correct feeding amounts for their dogs. Adopting a subscription-first model, refreshing its overall look and feel. The content was revamped across the site, enhancing user experience and making it more accessible for consumers.

What was the result

The website has delivered significant increases across the board of key metrics – with conversion rate improving by 75% year-on-year, average order value increasing by 24%, orders up by 15%, and total sales up by an impressive 42%.
