As part of a relaunch into the UK and Europe, the world-famous Hunter Boots brand required a new e-commerce website.
After understanding the needs of the business, it became abundantly clear that there was one perfect platform for them: Shopify.
Hunter Boots, which has been trading since 1856, wanted a high quality and, functionally, very clean website for customers to be able to purchase items from. They also wanted it built on Shopify Plus.
While they had a number of specific requirements – including a need to reduce the returns rate by improving sizing product information – they had one major one: the need for speed.
A fast build was critical as there was no live website at the time of working on the project.
Quickfire had been working with the parent company of Hunter Boots, the Batra Group, for some time, building an excellent partnership.
So when the call came in to discuss Hunter Boots, we gathered a project team and quickly set about discovering what was required.
As a certified Shopify Plus partner, and with our own Shopify theme in which to develop, we were perfectly situated to take on the project – and deliver it within the needed timeframe.
This is a brand worn by kings, queens and celebrities worldwide, so while time was of the essence, there couldn’t be a compromise on quality.
As a complete brand relaunch for Hunter Boots, the ambition for the website is to provide customers with a new and updated shopping experience – one which is continually improving as we learn more about user behaviour.
The new site was launched on time and showcases the undoubted quality of the brand – and it’s got a detailed guide on how to select the right size!
In the first 24 hours after going live, the site was regularly taking orders, which were well into their hundreds after just two weeks.
